I'm a Minnesota native, husband, and dad of six kids. Like so many parents, I love finding new places to take my family, but I also know how quickly the cost of family activities can add up.
That's why I started The Explore Pass. I wanted to make it easier and more affordable for families to get out, try new things, and create memories together without constantly worrying about the price tag.
What started as an idea for my own family has grown into a community of thousands of passholders discovering incredible places across the Twin Cities.

What exactly is The Explore Pass?
The Explore Pass is a one-year activity membership that gives you access to free and discounted experiences at 30+ participating attractions throughout the Twin Cities.
It's designed to help Minnesota families explore more while spending less.
How much does The Explore Pass cost?
Our current promotional price is $24.99 per person for a full year of membership.
Each family member who wants to use passholder benefits needs their own pass.
Does one pass cover my whole family?
No. The Explore Pass is purchased individually, rather than as one pass for the entire family.
For example, a family of four would purchase four passes if all four people want to use the membership benefits.
How long is my pass valid?
Your Explore Pass is valid for 12 months, giving you an entire year to discover participating attractions and take advantage of their offers.
How do I use my Explore Pass?
After purchasing, you'll access your membership through our online customer portal on your phone.
Choose a participating attraction, review its current offer and instructions, and follow the check-in process when you're ready to visit.
Can I visit the same attraction more than once?
It depends on the attraction!
Some benefits are available once per year, while others can be used monthly, weekly, or more frequently.
Each attraction's offer clearly explains how often it can be redeemed.
Are all attractions completely free?
Not all of them. The Explore Pass includes a mix of free admission offers and exclusive discounts.
Every attraction has its own specific benefit, so you can see exactly what's included before you visit.
Are there any restrictions or blackout dates?
Some attractions have restrictions on available days, times, or redemption frequency.

Do I need to download an app?

Your Explore Pass is accessible through our browser-based customer portal, making it easy to manage your passes and check in using your phone.
Can attractions and offers change?
Yes. Participating attractions and their offers may change during your membership.
We work to maintain and expand our partnerships, and the customer portal provides the current offers available to passholders.
